As I was trying to sleep off a cold yesterday afternoon, we got a possible drowning call on the Columbia River. As I was first on scene with my cohort, we started at the beginning of the “clothing optional beach” and progressed north. Doing my best David Hasselhoff impression, I ran at least a mile down this beach with rope bag, gear bag, and red backboard in hand. You should have seen it!
Too bad the guy saved himself and drove off without telling anybody!
