Mutual Aid. Didn’t end up doing too much. I was on the RIT team
(Rapid Intervention Team.) Our responsibility is to go in if any

That’s right, got a job offer today. The Oregon Food Bank job came through after three interviews, and many nervous moments… Starting Wednesday morning I’ll be a full-time Volunteer Coordinator!

I didn’t update friday about the job, because I didn’t know anything
frankly. And not in the mood for making predictions, I still don’t.
All I do know is I was called at 8am (they sure do like to call early
at OFB) and I have a 3rd interview at 2pm today.

Where to begin… I went from not looking for a job, to interviewing for two and possibly a third. The interview with the Oregon Food Bank went really well, and tomorrow I go back for a second interview.

Well they always say the third time is the charm! Thursday I am
interviewing for the third time (well really the 5th time if you
include ‘2nd’ interviews) for Oregon Food Bank. This is a similar
position as the last two, title is “Volunteer Coordinator.” So we’ll
see!

Well I wish I had some excuses, but I simply just have not updated the
blog for a few days. I have been busy though… This campaign is in
full swing, as ballots are out now. Some other stuff at the fire
department has been keeping me busy. Tonight we had a three hour board
meeting. Good times.
