To answer my sister’s question in her comment, the head (bathroom) is
going through some kind of a refit. I started by just doing a deep
cleaning, but quite a bit of paint was flaking off the walls. So then
I decided I would scrap all of it off and repaint. It is almost ready
for primer.
Then I decided to work on the tile. After cleaning it with some heavy
duty cleaner, I’ve started re-coloring the grout. It was an ugly
stained white, so we are reapplying some new stuff. Tonight I
inspected yesterday’s work and the new white grout looks great!
The actual head needs to be over-hauled. Perhaps later this week.
The last job is creating a new mirror. The last one was chipping away,
so I decided to toss it and go with something more nautical. The plan
at this point is to make a new mirror using a port hole. It will be a
combined medicine cabinet and mirror.
Have some guests this weekend though, so I need to make the head usable
for a couple days.
