The fire pager went off early this morning, well it was 7:26am. That’s early considering I’ve been up at 6 most of the week and was looking forward to sleeping in. With all the wind and rain last night, gale winds that is, a barge broke free on the Willamette river and washed ashore Sauvie Island.
Not that we could do much for it, but the Fire Department was dispatched. Here’s one picture for you, a tug came and got it within a few minutes…
